Rebecca Kragnes

The music I choose to listen to at a certain time is a reflection of my real self in a given moment — what I am feeling, thinking or doing. By contrast, writing music is an expression of my ideal self. It is not a reflection but is an actual part of the best person I am. This piece of the ideal me is captured by sound in a fleeting moment.

Kama Linden

Singer-songwriter kama linden is TRULY UNINHIBITED, and just WAIT until you hear. This gutsy lyricist catches you with her edgy, yet well trained voice: emotional when necessary to drive home a ballad, and makes you do a double take when you listen to her biting lyrics (she said WHAT ). A former musical theater baby, she does ALL her harmonies, and has a pretty big range. Her music comes alive thanks to the help of her Producer Paul Snook of Night Owl Studios, NYC. Onstage she is sexy and fun, yet sincere in her delivery. If her eye contact and evil wink don't capture you, her sensuality in voice and movement will. Check out: Waiting, Crossed Over (regular and remix), Young and Pretty (remix), Don't Shut Me Out (regular and remix) CDs on sale through www.kamalinden.com (will direct you to other sites).

Ricky Singh

Trinidadian Brooklyn bred Ricky Singh is in simpler words an artist. After a two-year on-and-off hiatus up in Buffalo for state-instituted higher learning, he's back home in Brooklyn creating on "discarded objects." "I see so much stuff we throw away as a society;we thow it away to get the next big thing and I think this is often comparable to how we treat people. We throw them away when we find something better. In essence, I see so many interesting things on the street, not "garbage," but objects that people have rejected from society. Objects that have not had the opportunity to live a life of purpose or they've been "put out to pasture" as one might say. I am simply just offering a alternative. Giving them a life." While his life has been referred to "one for the ages (whatever that means)." He's been living at a young age with an old soul, even with his accomplishments up to this date, he is still very unsatisfied.

Christian Wicklein

The end of a late summer day fades to a cool twilight. Streetlights buzz into life on the suburban streets of a small town as stars wink into view overhead. Here two guitars and two voices tell stories of longing and hope for a better day. This is the music of Christian Wicklein and Charlotte Taylor…this is Hero of Our Time.
