Siegfried Zademack

The artist was born in Bremen Germany on December 24, 1952. Freelance artist since 1981. Several artshows of his work in and outside his homecountry. Siegfried Zademack's surrealistic visionary paintings make recipients and reviewers wonder. The arrangement of his pictorial thoughts immensely exceeds a realistic reproduction. His pictures allow us to slip in metaphysical dimensions, between humorous irony and the unfathomable deepness of our souls.

Ilgvars Zalans

I am a profesional painter, freelance artist. I work in different styles & techniques, mainly in oil, because color interests me as an existential platform. In color I find my real calling in Art and my life. Most of my works I make in open- air, nature. Landscapes help me to feel the surrounding in which I live and which I paint.

Zammerly

My paintings helped released my emotions from deep within. They took control of me. I was lost in each painting that unfolded. They relieved the feelings of loss, worry, uncertainty, hurt, darkness, happiness, life and a positive anticipation of the future.

Ana Zanic

I was born and educated in Croatia, where I graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts, University of Zagreb, in 2002. I have exhibited in many solo and group exhibitions. I currently live in Austin, Texas. My paintings are abstract compositions in which the colors and forms are driven by a need to establish harmonious relationships. They evolve from a notion, develop through intuition, and are evocative rather than descriptive. They allow me to combine the introvertedness of personal feeling and the extrovertedness of the coloristic and gestural dynamic. The joy I experience through art lies not only in the search for harmony of colors and forms, but also in understanding (discovering) who I am.

Linda Zapczynski

We live inside of homes, schools, workplaces. We build these places, places of refuge and comfort, misery and confinement. They are beautiful and ugly. There are doors and windows leading in and out, and often we don't know where. In my work, I investigate, findings lines to lead the viewer in, around, and out. As we have different points of view, perspective is at an unexpected angle. Emptiness is everything. Only we can fill the voids, if we dare. Vibrant color is my imagination, in the greens and blues of nature, brought to man's creations. But look closely; there is a darkness, too, a mystery, beckoning the viewer to look closer. Where does it lead to? What is lurking behind it? Opportunity, doom, glory, adventure? It's all in the perspective...

Mirela Zdjelaric

Inspiration comes from everyday life. My digital camera is my eye opening the door to creativity, taking my imagination to new levels. My motto is: " To create something from nothing." Creating new challenges to over come.

Dion Van Zelst

Dion van Zelst was born in 1981 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. Before he started to paint about three years ago, he studied graphic design in Amsterdam. During this study he became more interested in art and stopped with his graphical study. He started to study visual arts at the Kleine kunstacademie in Amsterdam wich he finished succesfull. Sinds that time painting has become his biggest passion. After two years of painting Dion decided last year to study again. At this moment he studies at the Gerrit Rietveld academie in Amsterdam. The work: The lines and outlines that he uses lie thick on the canvas, wich has a result that there is mostly structure in the paintings. To create extra structure he uses modellingpastas and gels or thick layers of paint. The combination of colour areas, structures and dancing lines give his paintings a lively and playfull character. Critici consider the work as original, contemporary and recognizable because of what's shown is regular emphasised by the use of text.

Angela Zenn

Born in the bucolic high mountains of the eastern Central Asia, Angela has loved arts and music since childhood. As a child, she spent countless hours drawing images of the celestial tales of the heaven so approachable above while angels dancing in lyrical rhythms of the thick forests around her. The idyllic mountain village provided an inexhaustible inspiration to the early development of her artistic inclination.

Mary Zins

A self-taught artist, my work in acrylics has focused more on subjects with eyes: the human face and wildlife. To capture the soul essence of a subject I feel is the highest achievement one can aspire to in art. Crossing between realistic and impressionistic styles, I try to capture the essence or spirit of the subject as opposed to anatomically-realistic detail. In my commercial freelance work I work mainly in Adobe Illustrator creating vector-based illustrations. Again, even in this medium, I find myself drawing those creature with eyes: "being human" cartoons and animal illustrations.

Vlatka Zugic

Vlatka Kavalir Zugic, born in Virovitica , Croatia. Graduated in 1979 ftom: Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux-Arts, PARIS, France.

Paintings as energy , a play of layers producing associations with the original , timeless landscape. Beyond the tranquility of the picture , resting on the balance of the tensions of coloured energies, on discouvers excitement as secret of becoming.Selfexpression!

Zoran Zugic

Ultra organic, natural and hyper sensible Zugic's work has the characteristics of the heroic and romantic in a form never seen before. Without a religion, except for the natural one, without any technical and mechanical ingredients, perfectly fit into art as poetics and auto poetics, as an organic system but an irrational one as well, Zugic's painting, with its visions of renewed nature and a renewed but a different world, has appeared from nowhere and left for a big esthetic and meditative adventure in which man is unimportant as well. The opus has appeared as an expression of a possible renaissance after the postindustrial and post catastrophic era.

Jane Zweibel

In my work, I depict visual narratives. In my series “Stuffed Paintings”, I start by creating silhouettes based on different poses of my young son. I transfer the stencils onto canvas. The pieces are hand-sewn and filled with cotton. The resulting soft sculptures allude to childhood stuffed animals and dolls. They also suggest cartoon figures and spiritual icons. I then make oil paintings on the façade of each piece. The illusionary paintings play off of the sculptural forms. The paintings are based on collages, over which smaller stencils are superimposed, honing in on odd perspectives/juxtapositions. The original compositions are altered, inventing new meanings, and non-linear narrative possibilities. A major theme in my work is an on-going quest for identity in a chaotic world. I also am interested in the interweaving of private and public realms. My content is culled from a range of sources: personal and collective history, current events, urban life, family and nature. My hybrid characters embody the conflicts, losses and connections between childhood and adult lives.
